This website is operated by Cotton On MCR. The Cotton On MCR Shop is a base for Manchester Artists to sell their work online. Cotton On MCR act as a third party host to selling these items. Each item is sold from that particular artist, Cotton On MCR do not own or house any of the stock. It is each individual artists responsibility to provide detailed and accurate information of each item, including the colours, size, weight and any other information listed on the website. Cotton On MCR can not take responsibility if the items received are not as described and shown in the images but we can help in rectifying any issues you may have. If you are not happy with your item, or feel as thought there are discrepancies, please see below information regarding refunds and returns.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website.
Our store is hosted on WooCommerce via WordPress. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell the artwork and products to you.
All prices include delivery costs across the UK. Artists are obliged to post the artwork and/or product within 3 – 5 working days of purchase. You item will be posted at a minimum of 2nd class signed for – but the artist may decide to send your parcel via a different and perhaps faster (but no less) postage rate.
Each item is given a tracking number so we can track the progress of your item. Should there be any issues, we can use that tracking number to contact Royal Mail.
The cost added to the item is based on the Royal Mail fees for 2nd class signed for parcels and large letters, and adapted to the size and weight of your item. On top of that is the parceling costs which is determined by each artist individually and by each item individually.
It is the artist responsibility to parcel your item, and will do so securely to minimalise and prevent any damage during posting. If you purchase more than one item from the same artist, there will be no discount for multiple items.
If you purchase multiple items from different artists, there is no guarantee that your items will be delivered at the same time or date. Each artist is contracted to parcel and post their item within 3 – 5 working days of the purchase, but can do so within their own time.
We do not currently ship items outside of the UK.
We do not currently have alternative means of postage, the standard is set as outlined above.
None of of products come in a frame, and are sold as singular items unless otherwise stated.
RETURNS & EXCHANGE
We are happy to issue a refund or exchange for any item that is returned in its original condition and packaging (except for sale items) within 28 days if you feel that this item is not as described on the website. Unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange after the days stated above.
To be eligible for a refund, we will need to see evidence of the item being different to that as described on the website. This should be in the form of detailed photographs and descriptions. Please raise your concerns via our Contact Page on the website, we will reply with further instructions. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please attach either an invoice or a copy of your purchase order email confirmation with your returned goods. A refund will not be offered if you are not happy with the product, but it is as described on the website. If there are other reasons you feel you should be eligible for a refund, please do contact us to investigate.
When returning an item, please retain any proof of postage from your shipper. We will not be responsible for any item that is lost or damaged during return shipping.
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
Cotton On MCR do not own any of the stock listed on the website, therefore it is the responsibility of the individual artist to let us know if their work is sold elsewhere or out of stock. If you make a purchase and we are later informed that the artist is no longer able to sell/post this item, you will be entitled to a full refund, or an exchange for another item if you desire. You will also be given a discount code for any future purchases to apologies for the inconvenience.
