Drop in Art Workshop (watercolours/drawing/acrylics)
Part of our Art All Dayer: Summer Edition
We are very excited to host our first ever drop in workshop! Here, you have the choice! You can decide if you wish to learn how to use watercolour paints, or how to draw with pencils, or how to paint with acrylics – it’s up to you!
Hosted by our professional artist Louise Garman, she is on hand to guide and teach you how to work these mediums, no matter which one you pick. There will be a still life setting on hand for you to study, with work sheets to follow also. So if you have always wanted to try watercolours, but your friend wants to try their hand at acrylics, you can! All materials included!
Watercolours: Using a colour wheel to start, you will learn about graded washes using both wet on wet and dry brush techniques. Watercolours are a great way to begin your painting journey and this workshop gives you all the tools and guidance to get going.
Drawing: Drawing can be the fundamental element of any artwork. You will learn all about line, tone, texture and composition. This workshop will cover a range of drawing techniques suitable for any skill level.
Acrylics: Having your own canvas to use, you will learn about shape, form, colour and line to create a composition. You can create and expressive modern abstract which is totally unique to you and perfect for decorating the home.
