Our ethos is to promote the visual arts of Manchester, and one of the way we do this is via our events! We tailor our events to make sure they are open, welcoming, and suitable for all! Have a look to see what we have coming up below.
NEWS UPDATE: So as you are aware, we had a news update from Boris regarding the changes to lockdown. Unfortunately, pubs and restaurants (including Project B where the event is being held) are not opening until July, at the very earliest. The government have also said however, that they will be a cap on the number of attendees to indoor events. Because of this, I’m afraid the Cotton On MCR: Art All-Dayer has been POSTPONED again
At this stage, we are not able to set a new date, but please be assured this event will go ahead as soon as we are allowed and it is safe to do so!
Thank you for your patience and support as we continue to work and strive to make this event amazing for you guys.
Tickets already sold are acceptable for the new date.* Still at Project B venue.
ABOUT THE EVENT: There is no other event like it! We are combining the best of Manchester’s art scene into one amazing Art All-Dayer – featuring a huge affordable art fair, workshops, a pop-up exhibition and more! Brought to you by the best of Manchester’s creatives. This all-day event is the first of its kind, and it’s free to attend!

Art All-Dayer Workshops:
During the Art All-Dayer event you can take part in our fantastic workshops! Our friends over at Art MCR will be hosting two workshops throughout the day. Come and learn a new skill and stretch your artistic wings! You can take part in an acrylic painting workshop where you get to explore techniques of paintings. Or try your hand at marbling! Here you’ll learn the techniques to create you own marble effect and you can decorate a A5 sketchbook which will be free to you one the day. Both workshops run for 45mins each – you can purchase tickets below!
One of the things we love to do is host events, including workshops! Our aim is to promote the best of Manchester’s art scene and get everyone involved in doing so. We are looking for artists, tutors, practitioners to get involved and host workshops with us!
We want to host a mix of drawing classes, painting, sewing, pottery, craft, photography and more. From one-off lessons to weekly/evening courses.
If you want to try your workshops out with us, drop us a message!
PLUS – if you wish to sell tickets to your own workshops you can do. We want to be a hub for people to come and see a huge mix of workshops happening in Manchester.
To host or sell your workshops with us, get in touch via our contact page.
Looking Sketchy Series:
Come join us for a free, online, art meet up! This casual sketch club is a way for people to come and test out their drawing skills and meet like-minded folk at the same time! Each 40 minute session we will run through two-to-three different and engaging drawing exercises, just to get your creative juices flowing. It’s a bit of fun, you’re work won’t be marked or judged, as we are all there just to have a go! Pick up a pencil, have a beer and have fun!
All you need is a pen, pencil and a pint (or any other drink you wish to have)!
