Art All Dayer: Student Exhibition

In the spirit of our previous Art All Dayer events, we have another exhibition of Manchester’s finest artwork in store for our Spring Art All Dayer. We’re all about accessibility in the arts here at Cotton On MCR, so for this exhibition we want to give the opportunity for the Fine Art students of Manchester Metropolitain University to showcase their artwork! We know how important it is for art students to be able to show work outside of art school for their professional development – this is the perfect opportunity to do so.

There is no particular brief for this group exhibition, and it is open to all years of the Fine Art course at MMU. We welcome both 2D and 3D artworks – we will provide the exhibition space, but we want to give you the creative freedom to curate and organise the exhibition. We ask that you also provide your own display equipment such as plinths and easels, as well as your own way of transporting the artwork. We will have a allocated student as a point of contact between Cotton On MCR and MMU, which we hope will make it easier to organise and communicate. They will be your point of call for all exhibition information.

If you wish to be that Exhibition Lead, you can apply via the University Rise Internship program. Applications will open 19th January, and the end date to apply is Wednesday 2nd February, to start working with us on Tuesday 8th February.

If you wish to submit your work for the exhibition you can! Applications are OPEN! We are looking for 2D and 3D work, under 2m x 2m in size. Please follow the link below to make an application. The deadline for applications is Friday 18th February, and you should hear back by Friday 25th February. We look forward to viewing your applications!
