We are super duper excited to be having our first ever Cotton On MCR pop-up exhibition as part of our Art All Dayer event, Saturday 28th March at Project B, Manchester.
Running alongside the event, we will be hosting an exhibition of one of you lucky artists (or singular art group)! Due to the nature of the venue, this exhibition will be held outside, so please make sure your work is suitable for all-weather conditions.
We are looking for a contemporary Manchester based artist to showcase their work in this space. (If you are not living or working in the Greater Manchester region, your submission will not be counted.)
We want someone who’s work in dynamic, that can stand up against a busy backdrop. Due to the nature of the event and venue, only 2D work and 3D work will be considered. Other than that, there is no theme, it’s a wide open call!
It is free to apply, you must be able to supply your own work and any artist statement/printed material that you wish to show alongside this and be there to install and take down the exhibition. This is a pop-up exhibition and will be open for one day only. There is no charge to apply for the exhibition, no charge if you are successful, however, if you wish to sell your work on the day, we will be asking for a commission on your sales.
We will be there on the day to help install the work, promote you and the exhibition and to process any sales made.
Some details are still to be confirmed with the venue, so please bear with us as we finalise those, but we will answer any questions we can.
If you are interested in taking part in our Art All-Dayer event, and having your work as part of this brand new innovative event, then submit your application below!
Applications will close on Friday 7th February at midnight. And we will email you with our decision by Friday 14th February.
Please note, we will chose only one artist / one collective for this exhibition.
Please note – we will be judging the applications based on the work and images you have on your social media and/or website.
And a reminder, this is for an outside exhibition so your work must be suitable for all conditions.
