’35 years of sculpture at Castlefield Gallery’
‘No Particular Place to Go?’ is the latest exhibition at Castlefield Gallery. This exhibition ‘highlights the gallery’s rich history of engagement with British sculpture’. This group exhibition features artists that have displayed work previously in Castelfield gallery since opening 35 years ago. So expect a huge range of sculptures taking you from past to present.

‘A visual exploration of Hip Hop timeline…’
Head to Northern Monk for a whole new type of Hip Hop event. Here you will find 30+ artists showing and creating work inspired by their favourite Hip Hop artists. The event will host a line up of street art, graffitti, fine art, interactive art, a charity auction and of course, a whole heap of Hip Hop music.

‘An exhibition by himHallows’
Head to The Modernist Society to see ‘Infrastructure’ a new exhibition by artist and illustrator himHallows. This exhibition houses ‘a series of illustrated patterns in response to the increasing demand on the infrastructure that underpins our cities.’ himHallows creates patterns, animations, books, prints and more! Defo one to watch.

Prestwich Arts Festival
The Prestwich Arts Festival is a programme full of ‘of creativity, connectivity and community’ including visual, interactive and performance art, all ran by volunteers. The event, happening across numerous venues over the weekend, aims to ‘celebrate the creativity of the local community, and to encourage local people to be involved’. One programme ‘Home is where the Art is,’ offers people a chance to create their own gallery in their home!

‘Endurance: The ability to withstand a situation without drawing yourself away.’
Say hello to Manchester’s newest and quirkiest art gallery! Friday 13th, get your butts down to Antwerp Mansion for ‘a singular celebration of creativity presented by Antwerp Mansion Arts and West Art Collective.’ The guys over at West Collective are hosting a night of artists, writers, photographers and performers. Alongside the exhibition there will be a store and print sale, as well as live music from local musicians.
